Appetito Provision Co., Inc. manufactures a quality line of sausages in our 35,000 sq ft state-of-the-art facility located in New York Metropolitan area. Designed to enhance productivity and filled with the most efficient equipment available, our plant allows us to operate at the highest capacity and meet the most stringent requirements of our customers.
Using a company-owned fleet of refrigerated trucks, we supply all of the major supermarket chains in the New York Metro market. Additionally, a strong network of distributors enabled us to reach out as far as the West Indies with our line.
When Thomas Tota, President of Appetito Provision Co., Inc. ventured to America in 1956, he brought with him a sense of ambition, a high level of energy, and a thorough knowledge of the processed meat industry. Until leaving Molfetta, Italy, for the States he worked in the family business which centered on cheese, sausage and salami.
Once here, Thomas worked with master sausage maker Hugo Landriani, honing his skills and preparing himself to eventually launch his own company in 1966.
Today, Thomas, who maintains that sausage making is a fine art, and his son Michael manage a company known throughout the Northeast for high quality sausage products supported by a high level of customer satisfaction.
